Val re-elected for Lambeth & Southwark
I am very grateful to the people of Lambeth and Southwark for re-electing me to serve as their London Assembly Member.
I know that I owe a great deal to the Labour Party members and supporters, local Councillors, community leaders and faith groups who supported me so whole heartedly.
I am disappointed that London did not re-elect Ken Livingstone but I promise to do everything within my power to fight successfully for the interests of all of the people of Lambeth and Southwark.
I will always aim to do my best for the interests of London and Londoners.
